With fish soup and prayer the Community Centre "Stefan Karadja" and Society "Tradition" - Ruse celebrated St. Nicholas Day

Dozens of local citizens took part in the celebration of St. Nicholas Day in the courtyard of the Stefan Karadja Community Centre.
The event was organized by the community activists and the chairman of the Ruse branch of the National Society "Tradition" Martin Kalenjiev.
40 litres of fish soup with carp, chiga and turbot meat were prepared. The mood was complemented by performances of the bagpipe ensemble of the community center and traditional Bulgarian choirs.
The food and drinks were blessed by Father Georgi from the Holy Metropolis of Rousse, who also celebrated a festive prayer. He urged the people of Ruse to be more humble and humane.
"Be healthy and full of faith. Let St. Nicholas protects and delights you with his miracles!", greeted the Mayor Pencho Milkov.
