Young artists from Ruse successfully participated in an international competition in Portugal

The young artists from the School of Fine Arts at the Municipal Children's Centre for Culture and Art - Ruse, led by Margarita Hrisandova, took part in the 23rd International Meeting for Youth Fine Arts "Evora 2023". The forum was held in Evora, Portugal, and a catalogue of the competition was published and printed with the participating works.
The young talents had the creative freedom to paint birds of the Anatidae family /ducks, geese, swans, etc. /, the techniques were optional. A jury of distinguished artists determined the awarded participants. From the School of Fine Arts these are Asena Arifova, Viktor Petrov and Svetlozara Pencheva, who were awarded the First Prize - Diploma "Golden Class of Merit". Second prize - "Silver Class of Merit", was awarded to Gabriela Ivanova, Petya Dimitrova, Thea Trendafilova and Helin Syuleimanova. Artist Margarita Khrisandova received a diploma for her participation as a leader of a very talented group.
The aim of the competition is to bring together different cultures, to maintain artistic dialogue, to develop the cultural progress of Evora and to awaken and develop the artistic abilities of children and young people from different countries around the world.
