Another 187 residents of Ruse have been approved for replacement of old heating appliances with ecological ones

187 are the approved candidates who submitted documents in the period May 8 - July 31 under the "LIFE" Program of the European Union. The invitation to the citizens remains open until the financial resource for the project is exhausted, but no later than September 30.

Residents approved for switching to natural gas heating must, within two months of the announcement of the results, submit to the Municipality of Ruse a technical project for the gasification of the property in accordance with the requirements of the regulations. The project also includes the type of heating devices - gas boiler or gas convector.

When the approved candidate switches to heating with a pellet fireplace with a water jacket, he must, within two months of the announcement of the results, submit a technical diagram of the water jacket installation, which must include the type and power of the pellet heater.

Acceptance of application documents continues. Ranking of applicants who submitted forms between August 1st and September 30th will be done by October 31st.

The activities are carried out under the Main Phase of the Integrated Project "Bulgarian municipalities work together to improve the quality of atmospheric air" under the LIFE Program of the European Union - LIFE17 IPE/BG/000012 - LIFE IP CLEAN AIR.
