Child and Space Association celebrated 20 years of dedication and care for children and young people with disabilities

''The Child and Space'' Association celebrated its 20th anniversary.  The jubilee concert entitled "Happy Meetings" took place in the Philharmonic Hall and was attended by children and young people included in the six social services of the association - Day Care Center for Young People with Disabilities "Daga", Center for Family-Type Accommodation for Children and Young People with Disabilities "Vyara", Center for Family-Type Accommodation for Children and Young People with Disabilities 2, Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration "Children's Development Corner", Day Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities "Winnie the Pooh" and Day Center for Children with Disabilities - Weekly Care and Early Intervention Program.

The event was attended by the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Pencho Milkov, Dr. Vesela Banova - Chairperson of the Management Board of the Association, Maria Yordanova - Administrative Head of the Social Services of the Association in the Municipality of Ruse, many partners of the Association and parents.

Mayor Pencho Milkov thanked Maria Yordanova and Dr. Vesela Banova for their dedication and care for children and young people in need and their parents. "You are the kind of flying people," the mayor said, addressing everyone who works and assists the association. "You teach us to look humanely at the processes that we have to administer. You teach us to love unconditionally and so it is easier to work in social services. I would never lose this human gaze, thank you for that," said the mayor.

Dr. Banova said that thanks to the Municipality of Ruse, the association has become an organization that manages social services. "Ruse is the only city in the country where there is a real solution to the problems of children, relations have been built with the Municipality and with the Social Assistance Directorate, with many partners - in Ruse the problems are solved, because there are happy meetings with partners here," assured Dr. Banova.

Representatives of the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art and the National School of Arts "V. Stoyanov" gave their musical greetings to the birthday boys. The culmination was the performance of the song "Together", in which all participants in social services participated.  The musical accompaniment was by 18-year-old Viktor Stoyanov, who plays the Arcana strum. This is a tool that only the cities of Ruse and Sofia have. It is made in Israel, contains 4 colored buttons and makes music accessible to everyone. The song also features the quartet "Sun" led by Dr. Natalia Konstantinova at the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art. At the end of the concert, everyone welcomed on stage the festive cake for the anniversary of the association.
