Children's choir "Danube Waves" with a concert for its 75th anniversary

On July 9, at 6:30 p.m., in the Philharmonia Hall, under the direction of Vesela Todorova and the piano accompaniment of Gergana Vicheva, there will be a solemn concert on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Children's Choir "Danube Waves" at the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and art. Popular songs by Bulgarian composers, beloved by several generations of children, will be performed.

The highlight of the program will be the work of Paul Haley "Trilogy of Freedom", as well as the special participation of former performers from the children's choir, who forever connected their fate with singing art and music. Andreana Nikolova, Gloria Pencheva and Stilyan Tsvetkov are some of the most beloved soloists of the Ruse Opera. In their performance, popular excerpts from masterpieces of musical classics will be played, accompanied by the pianist Veselin Boteva. The other two soloists - Victoria Angelova and Mario Nikolov, known to the audience from the last edition of X Factor in 2017, continue their development in popular music.

In the festive concert, led by the young actress Radinela Toteva and Emil Todorov - also former choristers of the children's choir, the Ladies' Chamber Choir "Danube Waves" of the NB "Angel Kanchev" 1901 with pianist Elena Koleva will take part.

"Danube Waves" Children's Choir expresses its immense gratitude to the director of the State Opera - Ruse Plamen Beykov for providing the "Philharmonia" hall free of charge.

The children invite the Ruse audience, the former choristers and everyone who sympathizes with their work, to sing together "A native song that connects us forever" during the concert.
