Delegation of the Chinese Embassy visited Ruse

The Mayor of Ruse Municipality Pencho Milkov welcomed representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria. The two-day visit is on the occasion of the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival in June.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Wang Ming, temporary manager of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in our country, the adviser on trade and economic affairs Con Linyu and the expert on political affairs Ma Qi, the deputy mayors Zlatomira Stefanova, Dimitar Nedev, Borislav Rachev, Nikola Lazarov and the director of ME "Sports properties'' Lachezar Ivanov.
The focus of the talks was this year's hosting of the "Dragon Boats" Festival in Ruse, as well as the World Championship in this attractive sport in 2025. A visit to the rowing base in Forest Park "Lipnik" was organized for the guests. The festival is expected to attract many Bulgarian and foreign spectators and tourists to Ruse. It will be held in June in Forest Park ''Lipnik'', and the organizers have prepared a rich and spectacular program.
In addition to the upcoming event, Mayor Pencho Milkov discussed with the guests the advantages of Ruse as a location providing opportunities for the development of business projects. It emphasizes the border position and the connection with Romania via the Danube bridge.
"Ruse is one of the few Bulgarian cities that develop four types of transport. Thanks to the active work related to the restoration of Ruse Airport, I believe that in the near future we will improve the connectivity of our city. We have great potential for development and together with my entire team we are ready to work for new investments and development of the potential of Ruse," said Pencho Milkov.
After the discussion of opportunities for cooperation in various fields, the diplomats visited Bader Bulgaria and the Ruse Free Zone.
