Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev launched a dragon boat race in the town of Ningbo, China

On the occasion of the traditional feast of dragon boats and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bulgaria, a dragon boat competition was held on May 19 in the Yingzhou region, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province. 21 teams competed in it and 12 Bulgarian athletes were part of three of them.
The Deputy Mayor of Ruse Encho Enchev, together with his Chinese colleagues, announced the launch of the competition. Enchev said after the race that his tour in Yingzhou and the participation of Bulgarian athletes will actively encourage the preparation for the world dragon boat championship in 2025, which will be held in the city of Ruse. The competition is also a new beginning of cooperation and cultural exchange between the two cities, as well as between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
