Deputy Mayor Zlatomira Stefanova emphasized the importance of the UMIS for the local administration and business

In Hall 1 of the Regional Administration of Ruse was held an information meeting on the topic "Information System for Management and Monitoring (UMIS)". The event was organized by the District Information Center – Ruse in cooperation with the Information Systems Department of the Central Coordination Unit Directorate of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The meeting was opened by the Regional Governor of Ruse Dragomir Draganov and the Deputy Mayor for International Programs and Projects, Investments and Property Zlatomira Stefanova. In her welcoming speech, Stefanova emphasized the importance of digitalization and transparency in the management of European funds, pointing out that the innovations in the UMIS system will facilitate and accelerate the financing process.
A special guest speaker of the event was Georgi Stratiev, Head of the Information Systems Department at the Central Coordination Unit Directorate. He presented the current innovations in the modules "Electronic Application" and "Electronic Project Reporting", which  offer significant improvements for users. 

The main goal of the meeting was to support local administrations, non-governmental organizations and businesses in the process of working with the UMIS platform. Within the framework of the event, the participants received valuable instructions for the electronic application and reporting of projects under the programs funded by the European Union in Bulgaria, according to the Partnership Agreement for the period 2021-2027.

The Regional Information Center - Ruse is part of the network of 27 District Information Centers for the promotion of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and the European Funds under Shared Management (EFSM) in Bulgaria.
