Dozens of children took their first steps in rock climbing

On the training rocks at the "Alpinist" hut near the village of Basarbovo dozens of children had the chance to take part in the Regional Rock Climbing Tournament. The event was dedicated to mountaineer Ivan Tomov our fellow citizen, whose spirit remained forever in the Himalayas.



On the climbing routes, children aged 5-15 years old, provided by experienced instructors, tried their hand.

At the end of the competition the best received awards and congratulations from the Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov.



The main organizer of the event was Teodor Kisimov, chairman of the Climbing and Mountaineering Club at the Tourist Society "Prista" with the support of Ruse Municipality.
