The world champions and vice champions in jiu jitsu from "Dynamo" were awarded

Mayor Pencho Milkov awarded the athletes from the "Dynamo" ju-jitsu club, who won 6 medals from the World Championship and the Open Balkan Championship in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the competition of over 1,000 children from 32 countries, the Ruse competitors won:

- world title for girls under 12 (Katerina Kiseva);

- vice-champion title for children up to 10 years of age (Bozhidar Kisev);

- bronze medal for boys up to 12 years old (Rumen Varbanov, up to 38 kg);

- vice-champion title for boys under 12 (Valentin Hasardjiev, up to 46 kg);

- Balkan vice-champion title among men under 21 and bronze medal among men over 21 (Dimitar Dimitrov).

"You are a strong club with traditions and you must pass them on," said the mayor, Pencho Milkov, and awarded the champions with cash prizes.

Children successfully defend the name of the city in national competitions. Their next challenge is the international tournament in Burgas on October 22.

In a few days, Dimitar Dimitrov will leave for the World Men's Championship in Dubai, in which he will take part, accompanied by coach Borislav Kisev.
