Fishermen competed on the small lake in Nikolovo

This weekend, a friendly feeder fishing competition was held at the artificial lily pond in Lipnik Forest Park. The sports event is organized by the Sport Fishing Club "Danube - Ruse" with the support of the Municipality of Ruse and with the assistance of the Fishing Association "Lipnik - Ruse".

Despite the hot weather, 24 participants took part in the competition. They managed to catch grass carp, carp, carp and bream. The winner Venislav Angelov received the Ruse Municipality Cup for his catch of 7 kg of fish. The second and third place winners also won cups, and the other three left with gift vouchers.

Here are the standings in the competition:

1. Venislav Angelov - 1 penalty point /nt/ - 6,990kg

2. Mario Atskov - 1st - 3.915kg

3. Vasil Vasilev - 1st -1.915kg

4. Ivan Matsoev - 2nd - 5.555 kg

5. Petar Alexandrov - 2nd - 1,845kg

6. Dimitar Dyakov - 2nd - 0.415kg
