"MASKA" and "RUSE LIGHT & RHYTHM FEST" brought together Bulgarian and Romanian fans of cars, music and visual arts in Ruse

Hundreds of spectators filled the Arena Ruse hall, the square and the parking lot around it yesterday to witness one of the most attractive events of the year - the international MASKA festival and the subsequent evening spectacle Ruse light & rhythm fest.

The festival was opened by deputy mayors Zlatomira Stefanova and Dimitar Nedev. Stefanova emphasized that the organizers deserve special recognition for their responsible approach and clear appeal to participants and spectators to drive safely on the road. "Your message that drifting can only be practiced in specially designated and secured places, and not on public roads, is extremely important and timely," said Stefanova. Nedev thanked the organizers for promoting car culture in the right way and educating young people about the difference between the controlled environment of a track and the dangers of the street.

The festival day began with the Tuning Show, which brought together some of the most impressive cars from Bulgaria and Romania - from supercars with air suspension to handmade designer models. The exhibition area became a magnet for car enthusiasts and specialists who discussed the latest trends in tuning and automotive technology. The culmination of the day's program was a special talk on traffic safety - an important highlight with which the organizers reminded that speed belongs only on the track.

In the afternoon, the parking lot was transformed into an arena of speed and light with the night drift spectacle "Maska play". Professional pilots from Bulgaria and Romania demonstrated precision and control in the challenging Gymkhana Drift format - a drift with obstacles, while motorcycle stuntmen heated up the atmosphere with acrobatic tricks. Visual effects, Andy Faulkner's light show and DJ KSG's music kept the audience's energy up until the last lap. Lasers painted geometric shapes, abstract images and pulsating light waves in the air, synchronized to the music.

The evening continued with the "Ruse light & rhythm fest", where the popular DJ and producer D-Trax rocked the stage with a dynamic set, and the dance formation "Yoli Dance" impressed with spectacular choreography and acrobatic movements. Then the fire show offered spirals of fire, creating the feeling that the audience was attending a ritual in a modern form.

The Municipal Foundation "Ruse - City of the Free Spirit", which organizes the "Ruse light & rhythm fest", thanks its partners "Tiva Plus", "Holeman Bulgaria" and DZI "General Insurance" for their assistance in the preparation and holding of the event.
