Ruse competitors won 10 medals and the main prize in the "Ruse Cup" tournament

Ten medals were won by the representatives of the Sports Club "Triathlon Dalyan" in the fifth edition of the international tournament "Ruse Cup". The competitors from Ruse achieved an impressive performance, winning a total of two gold, four silver and four bronze awards, and also grabbed the main prize - the "Ruse Cup".

The competition was held today at the rowing base in Nikolovo. Over 100 participants from Bulgaria and Ukraine took part in it, who went through two disciplines - running and cycling. The start of the competition was given by Lachezar Ivanov, director of ME "Sports Real Estate". He emphasized that sport is a force that inspires, educates discipline, perseverance and respect for the opponent. “The competition unites people of all ages who aim to lead an active lifestyle, overcome limits and achieve personal victories,” said Ivanov and presented Miglena Angelova, chairwoman of the “Triathlon Dalyan” club, with a congratulatory address from Mayor Pencho Milkov.

“We are proud of the achievements of our athletes, who have once again proven that Ruse is a city of strong, motivated and inspiring people,” said Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev, who also welcomed the participants.

In the group of the youngest – “Sladuri” (up to 8 years old), the winner was 7-year-old Milen-Lozen Dashinov from Karlovo. The tournament was ranked individually, relay and in teams, and all participants received gifts for their resilience and sportsmanship.

The event is organized by the “Triathlon Dalyan” Sports Club with the assistance of the Municipality of Ruse.
