Mayor Pencho Milkov congratulates the Class of 2025 of the University of Ruse

The official promotion ceremony for the Class of 2025 of the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” was held in Kanev Center. The official guest of the event was Mayor Pencho Milkov, who congratulated the graduates and their teachers.

“The next stage of your life is an adventure. In the world you are about to enter, you will be able to actually apply what you have learned. The meaning of your deeds from now on will be charity, so that in time you can look back and see how much you have been of benefit to people,” the mayor addressed the graduates. Pencho Milkov also emphasized the importance of higher education for the development of the city and the region, as well as the key role of young specialists for the future of the local economy and society.

During the ceremony, the rector and the honorary rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Desislava Atanasova and Acad. Hristo Beloev greeted the graduates. Diplomas were awarded to 21 full honors graduates, to the top of the class and to the top of the individual majors.

Master of Science in Computer Systems and Technologies Tsvetelina Stefanova delivered a speech on behalf of her colleagues. “The years spent at the University of Ruse have given us something more valuable than a diploma, namely – the ability to think, to search, to create. It has taught us to be persistent when challenges seem insurmountable, and courageous when the solution requires a new perspective. The knowledge we carry with us is our compass, and the values ​​– our shore.”

The ceremony was hosted by the Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Galina Ivanova.

After the official part, the promotion continued by faculties, where the remaining graduates received their diplomas.
