Mayor Pencho Milkov honored the anniversary of the Faculty of Law

Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" celebrated with a solemn event the 30th anniversary of the Law Faculty.

"My teachers will forever be a part of my life story. Much of who I am has been shaped by my time here. " With these words the Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov addressed the leadership of the faculty. He likened law to a martial art, with warriors in both fighting for the triumph of justice.

The Minister of Justice Krum Zarkov, the Regional Governor Anatoly Stanev, the Chairman of the Municipal Council Ivo Pazardzhiev and the lecturer with the longest work experience at the faculty Assoc. dr. Velichko Panteleev.

Among the official guests were also His Eminence Metropolitan Naum of Ruse, representatives of various institutions, including the District, Administrative and Regional Courts, the Bar Association, the Ruse Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, lecturers, former and current graduates of the faculty.

With a welcoming speech to the attendees and greeting to the Dean of the Faculty of Law Assoc. dr. Kremena Rayanova, the Rector of the University of Ruse, Academician Hristo Beloev PhD, gave the start of the event. A congratulatory address was also read by the Prime Minister Galab Donev.

The celebration ended with the anthem of the University of Ruse performed by Stefania Gornachka, a student from the National School of Arts in Ruse.
