Mayor Pencho Milkov opened the Pristis National Cup in Kyokushin Karate – Kans

In the Danube Hall in Ruse, the Pristis National Cup for all age groups in Kyokushin Karate – Kan began. The competition is part of the State Calendar of the Bulgarian National Karate Federation, and the organizers of the event are the Bulgarian Kyokushin - Kan Federation and the Ruse Sports Club "Ippon" with the support of the Municipality of Ruse.

More than 170 athletes from different Bulgarian clubs, members of the federation, will take part in the tournament. The sports competition was officially opened by Mayor Pencho Milkov.

"I thank the federation for the trust voted to the organizers and the Municipality of Ruse for this championship to be realized in our city. I wish the competitors to do their best, to protect their health, because the strength they develop is not only physical. Karate is a unique sport that creates strong personalities, so I thank the parents for the support they give to their children."

For his part, the chairman of SC "Ippon" said that he expects the participants to demonstrate high spirit and and excellent physical fitness in one of the most respected disciplines in martial arts.

The National Cup promises to be a challenging and exciting event that will demonstrate the high achievements of young Bulgarian karatekas and will establish the city of Ruse as an important center of martial arts in the country.
