More than 200 people took part in the cross-walk from Obraztsov Chiflik to "Lipnik" Forest Park

More than 250 schoolchildren, students, veterans and nature lovers took part in this year's cross-country march organized by the Ruse Municipality,  Sports Tourist and Nature Conservation Society ''Academic'' and the Student Council of Ruse University.

In excellent weather, the route from Obraztsov Chiflik through  ''Minzuhar'' Hut  to ''Lipnik'' Forest Park with a length of 7. 5 km was covered according to the preference of the participants (walking, running or combined rhythm) in a time between 1:25:30. and 3:09:00 pm.

The participants and the organizers of the event were congratulated by the Deputy Mayor of Ruse Municipality, Magdalena Ilieva, who presented them with their awards.

14 groups from schools, sports and hiking clubs were awarded with cups and diplomas according to the participation criteria - cleaning of litter and small fallen wood, keeping order and discipline on the route. 20 participants, determined by lottery, received prizes provided by sports shops "Yako".
