More than 350 children took part in the "Merry Sports Festival"

More than 350 children, parents and the whole team of the "Snezhanka" kindergarten opened their "Merry sports holiday" on the sports field of the "Olympia" complex. The event is the second part of the kindergarten's project "Children with big hearts - the good starts with us", which is also part of the initiative of BG Be Active Association - "Sport without waste". This year the event is supported by the Municipal Foundation "Ruse - City of Free Spirit".

The sports celebration started with a warm-up and dancing, and then the children from the youngest groups showed that they know how to recycle waste properly.

Competitors from different Ruse clubs demonstrated to the pupils the specifics of individual sports such as badminton, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, wushu, kango jumping. The children watched the demonstrations with great interest.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Board of the Municipal Foundation "Ruse - City of Free Spirit" Zlatomira Stefanova.

In the afternoon the children will continue with the sports and competitive games, but now in the yard of their kindergarten. Their parents and the whole team of the "Snezhanka" kindergarten will actively join them.

The concept of the kindergarten project stimulates adolescents and their families to actively participate in various sports activities. The pedagogical team of the school strives to implement a new approach to broaden children's horizons, to facilitate the access of the youngest to knowledge through sports and games.
