On the football field in quarter "Druzhba" 3 for the first time was held a festive football tournament on the occasion of June 1 - Children's Day. The organizer of the event is FC "Levski 2000" with the support of Ruse Municipality and nearly 130 children from I to IV grade of 7 schools in Ruse took part in it.
"On this holiday, it is extremely motivating to see so many children participating in the tournament and doing their best. Continue to fight for victory and glorify your families and schools, "said Deputy Mayor Borislav Rachev to the participants and their parents. The event was also attended by the Director of ME "Sports Properties" Lachezar Ivanov.
In the football tournament took part children who do not participate in sports clubs. The purpose of the event is for small enthusiasts to feel the power and joy of the sport.
The children were divided into two age groups – I – II grade, who participated with five players in a team, and III – IV grade – with 7 players.
Of the youngest competitors, the first place was taken by the team of ''Vasil Levski'' Secondary School, second place was taken by ''Lyuben Karavelov'' Primary School and third became the players of ''Friedrich Schiller'' Secondary School .
In the second age group the winners were the competitors of "Lyuben Karavelov" Primary School, the second place was won by the team of "Vasil Levski" Secondary School, and the third place went to the players of "Otets Paisiy" Primary School. The Fair Play Cup was awarded to the participants from St. George's Primary School. St. Kiril and Methodii " – Nikolovo village.
All received medals for participation, as well as healthy treats from the sponsors of the event. The organizers from FC "Levski 2000" expressed their desire the tournament to become an annual event.
