New information campaigns about the environment and the separate collection of waste in Ruse

"Recycling school", "Ecochampions" and "Let's clean up Bulgaria together!" are part of the campaigns that will be implemented in Ruse municipality until the end of 2023.

ECOPACK Bulgaria's initiatives are aimed at consumers, households, children and youth in family and school environments. The aim is to increase the understanding of young and old about the activities and processes of the separate collection of packaging waste.

The campaign to motivate separate collection and recycling in schools "Ecochampions" will take place in the autumn. It is for all students from 1st to 12th grade in different municipalities. The school that conducted the most eco-lessons and the students that separately collected the largest volume of plastic bottles and aluminum cans will be awarded. All participating schools will receive separate collection bins made of recycled cardboard to place in the school corridors and continue the good practice of separate collection in school everyday life.

To raise awareness in kindergartens in the campaign "Live cleanly! Recycle!' will be provided free of charge:

- 5 sets of cardboard bins for separate collection of packaging waste intended for kindergartens;

- 120 children's books "Masters of Recycling";

- 120 stickers.

The new edition of the campaign "Let's clean up Bulgaria in one day!", of which ECOPACK Bulgaria is a traditional partner, is also expected in autumn.

Until the end of 2023, the company will partner with various sports, music and cultural initiatives, conducting an information campaign on site and providing containers for the separate collection of packaging waste, which is taken away for recycling and processing. In addition, the online platform "Recycling School. Teachers for a clean nature" provides for free use by teachers teaching materials related to the topics of separate collection, recycling and utilization of waste, environmental protection and sustainable development. The platform provides many useful materials to help teachers of students from grades 1 to 12: sample lessons, games, competitions that take place in or outside of class. The aim is to create a professional community where ideas, good practices, recommendations and experiences can be exchanged.
