Renovation works will restrict traffic on the Danube Bridge from 28 to 31 August

From 28 August /Monday/ to 31 August /Thursday/, from 22:00 to 2:00, traffic on the Danube Bridge will be restricted, the state agency "Road Infrastructure" (RIA) announced. The temporary traffic organization is necessary due to the implementation of urgent emergency repair works on the joints and concrete panels of the bridge.

During the restriction, all types of vehicles will be stopped from crossing the Ruse Danube Bridge Border Crossing in both directions.

The forthcoming traffic stop for 4 hours at night has been consulted with the Bulgarian and Romanian border services and customs, as the border crossing is less busy at this time of the day.
