Ruse athletes with medals from national championships

For the third year in a row the Ruse competitors from the Sports Model Club "Prista" took the title of team champion of Bulgaria and the first place in the team ranking in the Republican Championship in aeromodelling for children. The competition was held in Lovech and was attended by several clubs from all over the country.

The best performance was by 10-year-old Robert Gangemi  won two gold medals in the 164 km/h class and in the aerobatic cord class.

the 11-year-old Magdalena Tsoleva ranked first in the class "F5J-J - radio-controlled glider" and after a competitive battle took second place with the class "HLG - small glider".

The gold medal in the class "radio-controlled acrobatic model" was brought by 13-year-old Bogdan Vladev. His participation in the "F1H - small glider" class also contributed to the team ranking.

In the current year the club under the leadership of coaches Valentin Pavlov and Velizar Vladev won silver and bronze medals at the World Championships and two silver medals at the European Championships. Until the end of the season of the aeromodelers there are only two last performances left, where Magdalena Tsoleva will compete for a medal in the World Cup and the national championship in the class "F1E - magnetic gliders".
