The interaction between institutions for the purpose of preventing antisocial behavior among children and students was discussed today by school principals in the Ruse municipality and representatives of the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles (LCCABMJ). The meeting, organized with the assistance of the Regional Department of Education, was held in the "Culture" hall and was chaired by the Secretary of the LCCABMJ Tatyana Kyuranova. The conversation was attended by Tsvetoslav Dimitrov, Director of the "Education and Culture" Directorate in the Ruse Municipality, Sasho Shterev, Head of the Municipal Department of Education, and Boryana Petkova, Head of the "Organizational and Methodological Activities and Control" Department at the RDE - Ruse.
Kyuranova called on the principals to inform the commission and to file signals about students with antisocial behavior or children at risk. Our experts are ready to help and assist you,” the secretary of the commission explained to the teachers.
Tsvetoslav Dimitrov stressed that the prevention of antisocial behavior is of key importance for creating a safe and harmonious public environment. “We need to prevent destructive behavior before it manifests itself,” he added.
The principals insisted on better coordination between schools and responsible authorities, as well as more frequent inspections by the Ministry of Interior in nightclubs to detect offenders and sanction them.
The meeting outlined specific steps for joint actions to support children at risk, limit aggressive behavior, and contribute to building a positive school environment.
The organizers emphasized that sustainable prevention is only possible through active cooperation between school, family and institutions, with the ultimate goal being for every child to have a chance to develop in a safe and supportive environment.
