SCB "Dunav-Ruse-2016" won the championship for girls up to 12 years

The girls of basketball club Dunav-Ruse-2016 U12 won the championship title for the season 2023/2024.
The final tournament of the U12 State Championship for girls was held in Sofia, where the competitors of the Ruse club ranked second in their group after victories over Tundzha Yambol (63:61) and Champion 2006 (106:38), but lost to Rilski Sportist (53:71).
In the decisive semi-final match against the host of the tournament - Septemvri Sofia, the basketball players of Ruslan Rusev showed class and won convincingly with 66:52.
In a real basketball spectacle in the final Dunav faced Slavia. The match was equal until the middle of the last quarter, but the experience and confidence of the Ruse basketball players helped them to take the upper hand and triumph with the final 90:78.
This is the third championship title for SCB "Dunav-Ruse-2016" in the children's and adolescent age groups in the last three years, and last season the U12 basketball players remained a step away from gold, losing the final of the State Championship.
