Solemn ceremony and concert of the ''Nayden Kirov'' Folklore Dance Theater on the occasion of the 116th anniversary of Independent Bulgaria

With a traditional ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers, the festive September 22 /Sunday/ will begin. At 11:30 a.m., a ritual will take place in front of the Monument of Freedom, which will pay tribute on the occasion of the 116th anniversary of the proclamation of Bulgaria's Independence.

Under the sounds of solemn marches performed by the Municipal Brass Band, a guard of honor from Military Formation 32420 and the Youth Guards Detachment at the Municipal Youth House will be built, and priests from the Holy Metropolis of Ruse will serve a thanksgiving prayer in honor of the memorable date. The host of the ceremony will be actor Sergio Avakyan.

At the end of the ceremony, representatives of official institutions and other organizations will lay their wreaths by pre-registration at the email address pr@mayor-ruse.bg .

A special greeting to the citizens of Ruse on the festive Sunday will be made by the Folklore Dance Theater "Nayden Kirov". The concert of professional singers and dancers starts at 5 p.m. in front of the Dokhodno zdanie and is free of charge.

The Regional History Museum recalls that as part of the European Heritage Days, on September 22, the ''Zahari Stoyanov'' House Museum exhibition in Ruse will be opened with free admission within its established working hours.

The Drama Theater "Sava Ognyanov" also invites residents and guests of the city and joins the events with which the Municipality of Ruse will mark the date. On September 19 at 7 p.m. in the Chamber Hall of the theater will take place the special edition of the performance "The Spirit of the Poet" by Stefan Tsanev. As a compliment to its audience, the Drama Theater also makes a reduction in ticket prices and releases all seats for 15 leva.
