State Opera – Ruse announces that tickets for the premiere of the opera “Eugene Onegin” on March 23 in the “Opera” Hall and for the finale on March 29 with the participation of the world-renowned violin virtuoso Liya Petrova in the Great Hall of Dohodno Zdanie are already on sale at the “Opera” box office and online at www.ruseopera.com.
On March 23, the premiere of the opera “Eugene Onegin” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky will take place in the “Opera” Hall. The performance is a reenactment of the historical production from 1956, with which the Ruse Opera building was opened 70 years ago. The direction is entrusted to Plamen Beikov, the scenography is by Tsanko Dimitrov Voinov, and the costumes – by Ani Hadzhimisheva. The production is realized by Violeta Radkova, Eslitsa Popova, Nina Lishovska, Radoslav Radoslavov and Yana Dvoretska, all of whom pay tribute to the rich tradition and cultural memory of opera art in Ruse. The conductor of the premiere will be Grigor Palikarov, and the soloists, choir, ballet and orchestra of the State Opera – Ruse will contribute to the musical and stage experience.
The closing of the 65th International Festival “March Music Days” will take place on March 29 at 7 pm in the Great Hall of the Dohodno Building with a symphony concert of the State Opera – Ruse Orchestra conducted by Dimitar Kosev. The soloist will be Liya Petrova – violin, a world-renowned Bulgarian virtuoso, whose talent and stage presence conquer every hall. The program includes Violin Concerto No. 1, Op. 77 and Suite from the ballet "Bolt" by Dmitri Shostakovich.
