''Sun'' Kindergarten has new play spaces and a botanical garden

A botanical garden with flowers, bird houses and an insect hotel was created by the pupils of the "Sun" kindergarten together with their parents and teachers. The activities are part of the project "Children Play and Protect the Earth", through which the young people of Ruse get acquainted with the riches of nature and learn to appreciate them.

Recently, the school has also been equipped with a brand new children's eco playground for outdoor educational games. Flower paths were built in front of the groups, and experts from the municipal enterprise "Parkstroy" helped to landscape the area with ornamental shrubs, seasonal flowers and other perennial vegetation.

The end of the project was celebrated with a musical children's party.

"Dear children, do not forget that all living organisms are interconnected and together create our planet. Taking care of a tree, for example, actually helps many more creatures than we think to survive," said Mayor Pencho Milkov.

The project "Children Play and Protect the Earth" is implemented under the National Campaign "Clean Environment-2022"- "I love nature - and I participate".
