Talents of the Municipal Youth House have won prizes from an international competition for young performers

Two first and one second prize were brought by the young singers from the Studio for Pop and Jazz Singing "Ikonomov" and the Vocal Formation "Prista" at the Municipal Youth House from the National Competition "Danube Stars", which was held in the town of Silistra. 

First prize and a one-year scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science was won by Desislava Vassileva from the Vocal Studio for Pop and Jazz "Ikonomov", who competes in the fifth age group.  The other graduate of the vocal pedagogue Vili Ikonomov - Kristian Ilkov, competed in the second age group, where he received a prize - second prize.

Vocal formation "Prista" with vocal pedagogue Doroteya Balovska grabbed the only first place in the "Vocal formations" section of the competition. The incredible a cappella performance of the folk song "Sunny Dear Mamino" and the song "Survivor" from the repertoire of "Destiny's Child" impressed the 5-member jury chaired by Mimi Ivanova and members Svetoslav Loboshki, Nikolay Tekeliev, Georgi Dyulgerov and Divna.
