The festival "Ethno Rhythms Without Borders" celebrated the International Roma Day

Novo Selo vilage hosted the festival "Ethno rhythms without borders", organized by Ruse Municipality on the occasion of the International Roma Day. The holiday is a symbol of ethnic tolerance. A variety of rhythms and patterns of different ethnicities were presented, which intertwined and formed the image of the modern man - tolerant, informed and empathetic.

The concert "Ethno rhythms without borders" was attended by children from 7 to 18 years of age and their teachers and artistic directors, the folk community centers of Hotantsa, Chervena voda, Novo Selo, Semerdjievo, Prosena, folk community center "Gunesh-2012" and pensioner clubs from Novo Selo and Chervena voda. Children from the Children's vocal group "Sun" with artistic director Natalia Konstantinova at the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art, as well as the Orchestra "Plam" presented their performances.

The results of the children's essay contest "The Harmony of Ethnic Tolerance" were presented.

The drawings from the competition "Colours of Ethnic Friendship" were presented. Attendees also enjoyed traditional ethnic culinary products prepared by local residents.

The colourful celebration ended with awards, music and dancing.

The event is in implementation of Activity 7 of the project "Integrated measures for social and educational inclusion of vulnerable groups on the territory of the Municipality of Ruse", under State Fund BG05M9OP001-2. 056-0007-C01, under procedure for CB BG05M9OP001-2. 056 "Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups. Integrated measures to improve access to education" - Component 2" under OP HRD 2014-2020 and OP NOIR 2014-2020.
