The Tourism Advisory Council has set its priorities for 2025.

A meeting of the Advisory Council on Tourism was held today in the meeting hall of the Ruse Municipality, chaired by the Deputy Mayor of the Ruse Municipality, Zlatomira Stefanova.

In her speech during the meeting, Stefanova emphasized the importance of tourism as a strategic sector for the development of the city. “Our city has enormous potential to establish itself as a preferred tourist destination, thanks to its rich culture, history and natural resources. We are working together with all stakeholders to create conditions for sustainable growth and attract more visitors who will appreciate the merits of Ruse,” she said.

During the meeting, the new members of the Advisory Council were introduced, who will be involved with expert proposals and solutions in the process of tourism development in the region. The main item on the agenda was the consideration of the proposals in the Tourism Development Program of the Ruse Municipality for 2025.

The members of the council discussed a wide range of priorities and activities that will be implemented next year. Among them are initiatives to promote Ruse as a preferred destination for cultural, historical and natural tourism.

Particular emphasis was placed on improving the tourist infrastructure, organizing large-scale events and creating campaigns to affirm the unique identity of the city to Bulgarian and foreign visitors.

At the end of the meeting, the participants approved the next steps for implementing the goals set in the Program, related to improving tourist services in the city and the region.
