The winners of the International Tennis Tournament for children under 14 in Ruse were awarded

The award ceremony of the International Tennis Tournament for children under 14, which has been taking place since July 26, took place at the tennis base in the Park of the Revivalists. The event was part of the international calendar of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation and Tennis Europe and is organized by the Tennis Club "Prista 2011" and with the support of the Municipality of Ruse.

Martin Valeov became the champion of the junior singles tournament. He was placed number 1 in the main draw, triumphing in the final match against the Romanian Victor Dobrescu with a score of 6:1, 6:7, 6:0. Thus, the young talent finished the tournament with five consecutive victories, allowing only one lost set on the way to the title. The bronze medal in the juniors was won by Steliyan Darakev.

In the girls' singles, the title was earned by Maria Kocherzhenko from Ukraine, who convincingly prevailed over Vera Yamina from Russia with a decisive 6:1, 6:0.

Martin Valeov added to his collection by triumphing in the junior doubles competition, together with his Romanian partner Victor Dobrescu. The two prevailed in a contested final over the Bulgarian tandem Steliyan Darakev and Bruno Dzhenev with 3:6, 6:3, 10-3.

In the girls' doubles title, Nina Nokova and Simona Popova took home the title. In a dramatic match, they defeated the Ukrainian pair Maria Kocherzhenko and Daniela Tymoshenko with 6:3, 3:6, 10-8.

The winners were awarded by Mitko Ruzhinov - an expert in the Youth Activities and Sports Directorate, Stefan Mitev - Chairman of the Tennis Club "Prista 2011" and the main judge of the tournament Boryana Gyurcheva.
