The Youth Guard Squad from Ruse exchanged experience and told about its activities in Veliko Tarnovo

In Veliko Tarnovo was held a meeting of guards detachments from Northern Bulgaria under the mentoring program entitled "The Youth of Bulgaria and Montenegro – a Bridge for New Opportunities". The XIII Youth Guards Detachment at the Municipal Youth House also took part in the initiative.

During the event, over 150 participants had the opportunity to meet and talk with H. E. Jelena Filipovic - Stoyanov - Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of Bulgaria. Each of the squads had prepared a presentation to present their activities and the institution they represent.

The mentoring program is implemented as a joint initiative lasting from January to April of this year. In April, selected participants will visit Montenegro to exchange cultural practices and traditions. They will be selected on the basis of their participation in an essay contest. The topics on which the young people will write are:

1. Creating a project idea for educational exchange of young people from Bulgaria and Montenegro.

2. Young people - drivers of cultural change.

After returning to Bulgaria, boys and girls will present their impressions of the visit to Montenegro. For this purpose, special meetings will be organized in their schools in our country.
