On July 10, the IV folklore festival "Ethnorhythms - beat and culture 2022" took place on an open stage in the center of Bazan.
The event was attended by 45 independent folk ensembles and 360 participants from different ethnic groups from the Ruse region. They presented a rich folklore ethno-palette of songs, dances, costumes and traditional customs, as well as a revue of hand-woven cushions.
"Let holidays like this happen more often, so that our children grow up with a sense of belonging to the community and respect for all ethnicities and cultures," said the mayor of Ruse, Pencho Milkov, in his welcome.
The special guest of the event was the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Burgas, Mrs. Selen Güzel.
The folklore festival "Ethnorhythms - life and culture" is organized by the folk community center "Svetlina-1927" in partnership with the town hall of the village of Bazan and with the financial support of the "Culture" program of the Municipality of Ruse.
