Children from Bulgaria and Romania competed in the Loko Cup 2024 football tournament

"I'm glad to see so many active kids ready to compete for the cup. Sport, besides developing physical qualities, builds character and discipline. I welcome the initiative of the football club "Lokomotiv", and the Municipality of Ruse will continue to assist in the organization of more such events, so that our children can develop", with these words Deputy Mayor Borislav Rachev opened the competition.

At the Lokomotiv Stadium 220 children born in 2013 and 2016 competed for the football cup. The winner of the juniors, born in 2013, is the team of "Axi-Copaceni", Romania, which won the final with 3:2 FC "Botev"- Ruse. In the case of children born in 2016, the players of FC "Lokomotiv"-Ruse performed best.

Organizers plan to include participants from all age groups in future editions of the tournament.
