Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev honored the memory of Vasil Levski in Bucharest

The Deputy Mayor of Ruse Encho Enchev was a special guest at the celebration of the 151st anniversary of the death of Vasil Levski in the ''Mihai I''  National Park in Bucharest. In front of the monument of the hero in the Romanian capital gathered representatives of the Bulgarian communities in our northern neighbor.

"All of us as a society still have a long way to go until we achieve the ideal of the Apostle of Freedom for a pure and holy republic," the deputy mayor said. He expressed his gratitude to the Bulgarian Embassy in Romania for the invitation and invited the members of the diplomatic mission to the upcoming 63rd edition of the March Music Days Music Festival, which will be held from 15 to 31 March in Ruse.

The commemorative celebration was also attended by the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Romania H. E. Radko Vlaykov, representatives of the Embassy and the Hristo Botev – 1908 Community Center in Ruse.

A memorial service was held in memory of the Apostle.

The attendees laid wreaths in front of his monument, as well as in front of the monument of Hristo Botev, which is also located in the park "Mihai I".
