Documentary album "Ruse and the Danube River" introduces the rich history of the city and the region

The project "Ruse and the Danube River" has been launched with the beneficiary "Olympi Panov" OU - Ruse and partner "State Archive" - ​​Ruse, financed under the "Culture" Program of the Municipality of Ruse. It is aimed at expanding and enriching knowledge about the history of Ruse and the region, respectively the role of the Danube River in the development of the city and the creation of contacts with the countries of Central Europe.
The essence of the project proposal consists in the preparation and release of a documentary album with archival photos, selected thematically by students, graduates of the school. The album will introduce the rich history of Ruse, connected to the Danube River, through photos and photographs, many of which will be presented for the first time. The publication is time-oriented in the period from the end of the 19th century to the 80s of the 20th century.
According to the schedule of activities listed in the project proposal, Activity 1 was implemented, namely - Meeting with representatives of the partners and target groups of the project. They were familiarized with the schedule and the method of implementation of the activities included in the project proposal. A guest at the meeting was one of the reviewers of the Album, Eng. Nikolay Genchev, who donated another interesting document to the State Archives-Ruse.
