How is Kurban Bayram celebrated in Ruse

In the Ruse National Primary School "Georgi Benkovski - 1937", the Municipality of Ruse, in its capacity as a beneficiary, held with the project partner NGO "Equilibrium" a presentation of a custom on the topic: "How my family celebrates", in implementation of Activity 7 "Strengthening cultural integration and the identity of the representatives of vulnerable groups", under the project "Integrated measures for social and educational inclusion of vulnerable groups in the territory of the Municipality of Ruse", under Grant Agreement BG05M9OP001-2.056-0007-С01 under the procedure for specific beneficiaries /KB/ BG05M9OP001-2.056 "Socio-economic integration of vulnerable groups. integrated measures to improve access to education" - Component 2" under the Operational Program Development of Human Resources /OP HRD/ 2014-2020 and Operational Program "Science Education and Intelligent Growth" /OP NOIR/ 2014-2020.
In the event, children from the "Vasil Levski" secondary school and the "Selemetya" district participated with poems, as well as children from the "Prosveta - 1927" elementary school in the village of Semerdzhievo with musical performances.
A custom characteristic of Kurban Bayram was presented with a reenactment - a young family visiting their parents.
On the occasion of the great Muslim holiday, volunteers from ethnic groups from the "Selemetya" quarter, with the help of the health mediators, presented traditional foods - baklava, pies and mekiki.
The celebration ended with a treat and entertainment for the children and everyone present.
