"Equilibrium" Association celebrated 20 years at the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families in Ruse

In the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families on Blvd. 14 Lipnik Street /former Hristo Smirnenski Primary School/ Equilibrium Association celebrated 20 years since its foundation. The celebration was attended by Mayor Pencho Milkov and Deputy Mayor Dimitar Nedev, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and state institutions.

"Happy holiday to all those who are behind these 20 years of success. You are not just a non-governmental organization – you are a family. I am watching your work and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Be healthy and strong and when you encounter challenges, do not be afraid – the Municipality of Ruse will always be your reliable partner and friend," said the Mayor to the Program Director of Equilibrium Elena Petkova. For the overall activity of the association, he presented a plaque to the Municipality of Ruse.

The celebration was held under the motto "20 years of inspiration, professionalism and achievements".

"20 years ago, together we realized that our philosophy for children and families coincides, and we decided to create something of our own to help with. For 20 years, we have managed to support over 20 thousand children and their families through the social services that we manage in Ruse and for several years in Byala. Our main mission has always been for children to live in their families, so we have also become pioneers in the decentralization of social services," said the director of the association.

During the event there was a short entertainment program performed by children from the Center for Working with Street Children, and at the end each of the guests received a handmade gift.
