Exhibition and Ceremony on the 114th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Bulgaria

On Thursday, September 22, at 11 a. m. in front of the Freedom Monument, Ruse Municipality invites all citizens and guests of the city to a solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of the declaration of Independence of Bulgaria.

A guard of honour will be formed and the Municipal Brass Band will perform solemn marches. The Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov and the Regional Governor Anatoly Stanev will deliver speeches for the celebration.

Priests from the Ruse Metropolitanate will celebrate a thanksgiving prayer in honor of the memorial date.

The ceremony will be hosted by Lyubomir Kanev - actor from the "Sava Ognyanov'' Drama Theatre.

On the occasion of the celebration on 21 September (Wednesday) a thematic exhibition will be opened in the Regional Library "Lyuben Karavelov". It is organized on the initiative of Director Teodora Evtimova and Regional Governor Anatoly Stanev and will contain nearly 60 little-known documents related to the declaration of Independence.
