The repair of the hangars in the rowing base in Nikolovo has started

The construction and repair works and the improvement of the rowing base in the "Lipnik" Forest Park in Nikolovo village started.

The project includes the construction of sanitary facilities and a changing room, for which a light metal structure with thermal panels, drinking water supply and electricity supply is planned.

The large hangar will be cleaned and repaired - the metal parts will be coated with corrosion protection and paint, the windows and doors to the warehouses will be replaced.

The small hall where the boats are stacked will be renovated and also treated. Additionally, concrete pavement will be laid and a waterproof sidewalk will be constructed.

The fourth part of the site involves the restoration of the fence and lighting.

The funds for the activities were won by Ruse Municipality after applying with a project under Regulation 4 of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The renovation is necessary due to the extremely outdated material base, which is used by hundreds of trainers in the canoe-kayak, triathlon and ship modelling clubs, as well as in connection with the Canoe Marathon World Cup, which Ruse Municipality is hosting in June this year.
